Can't (re)install Acrobat X

i realize part of own fault: had acrobat x part of creative suite 5.5, when got cs6, didn't reinstall else. ran problems updates, tried uninstall , install cs6. hangs on , on again message similar this:

i've given myself full permissions c:\config.msi , restarted... no avail.

 

any suggestions??

i'm having same problem acrobat x. updated cs5 a-cloud cs6 getting kinds of permission errors. have gone , reset permissions, error on different file within directory (despite having applied correct permissions every file in acrobat folder, *sigh*). started update 10.2. acrobat has somehow uninstalled during 1 of many attempts update.  have fix this?
