CS5.5: Web Slice Problems

my web slice tool has gone mad...i've taken adobe cs5.5 off computer still having problems. guess have setting messed up. please tell me what's this.

 

1.  although have chosen save file jpg, saving in gif.

 

2.  after reinstall, still having problem #1 slices system chosen names not saving @ present @ time of web save, named , set picture.

 

what have done baby????

 

i took slices off , redid thing several twice , it's still saving slices name , in gif.

check whether have specific preset chosen in sfw.
