"adobe indesign missing required files. please reinstall. missing files: \program files\common files\adobe\typesupport\...\cp1252.txt" message keep receiving on cs5.5 of indesign.

 

i running indesign cs5.5 north american, english, updates on winxp sp3 machine. local copy, no network server. yes, might possibly need newer machine, or newer desk, or reinstall winxp fix 1 problem, other indesign cs5.5 still runs great , feel no compelling reason make system-wide changes or upgrade until win8 has been thoroughly tested , new hardware released , tried , true os.

 

so, last year, received same message , reinstalling didn't work either. so, pried adobe off of computer , reinstalled adobe pagemaker 7.x. compelled co-workers use id, have grown love. have no desire or $ upgrade id6 must make use of id 5.5. don't want uninstall pagemaker still use legacy projects , has been faithful companion me since called aldus pagemaker.

 

my question: causing these messages , why re-installation not ? if there system problem, why cs5.5 affected , not pagemaker , quark ? have searched web , found related posts (with no responses relevant me) users of apple products.

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
