Local data tracking

i have been searching hours on solution problem , cannot find answers.

 

my question is:

 

i want publish course captivate 6 , run cd on machine has no internet access. want able track quiz data locally on machine can retrieved @ later date manually.

 

i have seen other tools of building e-learning can local tracking no internet hoping there method of doing captivate 6.

 

others forum discussions have directed people web server solution requires internet connection.

 

any appreciated.

that unfortunately not possible captivate out of box.

 

it might possible custom development though. since delivering cd-rom use 1 of solutions run cd "webserver" , essentialy gain ability execute php scripts cd-rom. once have access php use captivate widget (which custom development) or "hack" local server reporting in captivate report score php script, save data file on computer. i'm not entirely sure if there security restrictions saving on computer php script located on cd-rom though, think should possible.

 

another alternative widget save users data in local shared objects (flash cookies) on machine, need manually retrieved , processed afterwards.

 

either of suggested solutions rather expensive. cd-rom php software typically costs around $1000 or , custom development of widgets , / or hacking local server reporting cost $1000.
