Thread: Help me choose laptop with nvidia

i've separated choices 2 lists - cheap & not cheap.
while i'd prefer cheap list, price not primary concern.

i've been reading people buying laptops 'switchable' graphics discover can use onboard graphics, , not dedicated nvidia.
don't want happen me. don't care switchable, or onboard graphics, or saving power. absolutely need use of nvidia.

criteria/reasons have narrowed down list is;
gigabit lan, wireless-n (5ghz preferred), led screen, nvidia graphics (vdpau capable).

i'll using for;
work on files on main server via sshfs on wireless-n (2.4/5ghz) & play hd video on sshfs/nfs vlc/smplayer using nvidia vdpau.

first thing doing it;
replacing hard drive solid state drive & installing 64-bit debian sid.
hdd size matters not.

cheap list;
code:
samsung rc720  acer travelmate 5742g
not cheap list;
code:
asus n73sv-v2g-ty533v  asus nx90jq-zbd-yz068v  asus g73sw  asus g72sw
i need hear has used of these models whether able install linux , make use of nvidia without problems.
i'm particularly interested see if has experience either of samsung models, seeing samsung rc720 17" on cheap list, says has 'switchable' graphics.

edited first post eliminate gigabyte q2532n list.
reason: it's switchable graphics use optimus technology.

eliminated: samsung rc520
reason: rather pay $130 more 17" version (rc720).
