Thread: HP dm4x or dm4t-2000 trackpad is erratic and unuseable

hello everyone.

received hp dm4x in mail recently, , tried installing 11.04 on it. while dm4x, that's order says, on underside of laptop has product id, says dm4t-2000. installation went fine except, can't use trackpad. both right , left click work fine, whenever try move pointer, track pad shoots pointer everywhere , can't move in straight line. lot of patience can pointer 1 side of screen other side, can't accurately land on anything, , if can, takes way long. unusable.

can (and have) use usb mouse, , works grand, i'd use trackpad. (and trackpad works in windows it's not faulty hardware) has had problem , if have ideas on how remedy situation?

come on guys no ideas? i'll let teamviewer or vlc laptop (i.e. screen control) if want poke around , check out.

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
