Thread: Kubuntu 11.04 Install from USB Stick not starting

i trying install kubuntu usb stick using instructions .iso download page gives me 1 slight change. downloaded 32-bit cd .iso without problems. mounted image using daemon tools lite (the slight change instructions). used usb-installer .iso gives make bootable usb stick .iso on it. when boot usb stick, takes me text page says this:

syslinux 3.82 2009-06-09 ebios copyright (c) 1994-2009 h. peter anvin et al

have tried letting load out bit = nothing
have tried getting new .iso , retrying process again = nothing
have tried using program besides daemon tools lite = nothing
have tried installing on different machine (went dell latitude d610 latitude d400) = nothing

mentioned using dell latitude d610 , latitude d400, been trying both see if either decide work differently.

trying install onto ibm travelstar 12gb hard drive.

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
