Thread: nviidia graphics card bios flash

hi
has got idea how flash bios on nvidia graphics card ubuntu. have no windows or mac boxes available - haven't used except linux years. card in box using mythtv , other media , graphics card has fault bios makes fan run @ full speed time. new bios fixes this.

not mean driver update ?
can use "coolbits" linux driver, needs enabled in xorg.conf file.

video card firmware flashing tools seem dos based fortunately.
statement based web search & personal experience years ago..

difficulty of using dos creating bootable floppy disk or usb stick.

there hp utility let make usb memory stick boot ms-dos floppy disk.
mem stick had earlier generation fat16 <=100mb ?
, pc bios has support usb booting.

can use usb stick flash pc bios & play old dos games..

modern pc bios have built-in flash utilities (only form mobo bios).
search nvflash

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
