i new linux, have hp pavilion dv7 laptop , tired of windows. i'm interested in how can transition windows os linux os , extremely grateful if point me in right direction learn. also, since different os, have modify in particular make transition smooth or have wipe system , install linux there? finally, if find ubuntu works me , can transition, kind of trouble have working other computers far transferring documents 1 os , back. i'm college student, in nursing , need computer nursing school.

your best bet try ubuntu week or 2 live cd

not 100% feature rich experience enough wet appetite , @ teh same time not harming current windows os , can reboot without cd , windows @ time.

once have read above link can download cd need burn .iso here
http://www.ubuntu.com/download/ubuntu/download , looking @ option number 3.

once have had play come , can going ahead , getting ready install.

in meantime suggest reading forum gudielines , stickies , tutorials on commonly asked questions , go.

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
