Update to 2.0 Killed Site.
so, happy try out new muse 2.0 features in site i'm building client goes live next week. imagine surprise find, once installed, entire site absolutely wrecked. have html object on front page (a twitter widget client in question) thing launches. when tried push site sandbox folder on server, none of pages appear - can't past index.html page, which, again, displays html widget (i tried removing it, after which, blank page appears).
fortunately, i'm obsessive backing up/cloud storage , have more 1 machine , more 1 version of site saved, able launch, edit , publish client-requested changes using other machine, serious problem - if hadn't done or had access of it, current site hosed , major contract inevitably lost. currently, can't use desktop work on site (which content is) , can't seem reinstall muse, since application manager still shows muse being installed on it.
has else experienced issue? unfortunately, can't share site greater public, since it's proprietary. need resolved - launch date monday, , site that's been in development months, can't say, "sorry, adobe screwed authoring application". i've got 500 users going live monday morning.
system info:
- muse 2.0
- imac 27" mountain lion
- site files stored on google drive
- site publish business catalyst
i should clarify: site looks fine in muse, when export, it's disaster-city.
