Do a Multiple re name of M2TS clips in PSE 10?

i have been given lot of video m2ts files editing before start want change meaningless name camera has given each clip name reflects location of clips.  since use pse 10 renaming multiple jpeg's @ once wondered if can use same facility on video well?

 

i should point out on recent holiday had 3 cameras 1 of video.  took precaution every day of checking time date stamp correct each camera.  i'm hoping if import both stills & videos pse can sort of files in 'date taken' sequence & use multi rename tool reflect location each picture taken.  should end both stills & videos in date taken sequence new name reflects taken.

 

i know pse 10 supposed able import video files m2ts etc & display thumbnails each clip.  since save video clips onto separate drive suppose if can re name clips & update data reflect new name if decide delete of video clips last batch imported & able use video clips in video editing program.

 

if have other comments appreciate receiving them.  can pse play m2ts files in versions of program?  work on both xp machine or windows 7?

 

photoshop elements not directly support avchd although can add them organizer in conjunction video editor - premiere elements. use file >> rename on individual clips.

 

however may better leave original filenames intact , stills , clips in number order relevant file ending. find easier add individual clips , stills project in premiere elements, set in , out points , rename each sequence based on subject.

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
