Flex iframe wmode causes Textbox issues

hi everyone,

 

this old issue, i've searched , searched , haven't yet found suitable workaround issue.

 

i have flex app requirement have html popup, have used flex iframe. issue layering of older browsers requires wmode="opaque", when textboxes stop receiving keyboard input in safari.

 

does know of working solution problem?

 

i've found solutions such as:

1) positioning html input forms in exact position flex input forms. unfortunately not option app i'm working on big , has hundreds of textboxes.

2) setting focus app on key-down, no luck -> http://www.igorcosta.org/?tag=flex-hacks

3) suggested on stack overflow maybe mxftetextinput may work, tried this, no luck.

i'm going answer own question based on research issue:

 

adobe not provide supported way embed html inside flex applications.  flex iframes popular unsupported way view html positioned above applications using special windowing mode (wmode opaque) on flash player. opaque wmode takes layering , compositing consideration, big problem wmode inconsistent performance of flash player across different browsers.  there number of documented issues across firefox , safari occur when wmode used.

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
