Premiere Pro crashes when clicking on rushes

dear adobe users,

i have imported several rushes project.

however, there particular video file that, when click on name of file, adobe crashes. thought remove video file , recapture it, can't delete file @ all.

is there way delete file on computer? (not original, 1 in project folder?)

thanks in advance,

best regards,

jarne

dear mr. snake, aberrant behavior indeed. if clicking on file , program crashes, there not can do. yes, should able select media asset delete project tab. if have lot of time in project, open autosaved version of time prior importing file. if haven't edited much, start new project, import working media started.

perhaps more information can ironed out.

you might define rushes.... video format, codec, camera, file extension(.mov, .mp4, .mxf) etc. means video clips acquired system? tape capture? if flash media, did transfer these video clips media\capture scratch drive before importing? if so, did keep file structure intact? file work outside of premiere?

post system info:

premiere version?

computer platform & os

cpu?

ram amount?

graphics card (mpe hardware acceleration)?

hard drives set up?

any 3rd party add-ons premiere (fx plug-ins? 3rd party i\o card matrox or black magic?)

source material format specifics(footage dimensions[1080p? 1080i? 720p?], camera, format\codec, framerate,etc.)

sequence settings - same info above sans camera info.

if offer information , describe problem clearly, have fair shot of getting on forum.
