PsCS6/Lr4 Hardware Performance Question

hi,

i built new desktop photoshop cs6 , lightroom 4.1 performance.

my build consists of:

cpu: intel i7-3770

motherboard: asrock z77 extreme4

ram: g.skill ripjaws x 16gb (2x8) ddr3 1333

graphics: i7's built-in intel hd graphics 4000

os: windows 7 professional 64-bit

photoshop cs6 64-bit

lightroom 4.1 64-bit

both os , applications on samsung 830 128gb ssd connected sata iii (6gb/s)

files on external 2tb 7200 connected via esata

using default scratch disk , raw cache location @ moment (the same ssd app installed on), add dedicated smaller ssd @ later date.

performance build vast improvement on had (dual core intel xeon 3gb , win vista 32-bit), speed processing of things blur filter in photoshop, , loading of images when cycling through develop module of lightroom (ie, loading image , rendering)... more bias towards lightroom performance edit large wedding galleries.

from hardware perspective, recognize more of performance improvement in these areas (and possibly others) adding 16gb ram (bringing total 32gb), or adding dedicated graphics card, such 1 (http://www.newegg.com/product/product.aspx?item=n82e16814125418). if answer via graphics card upgrade, i'm interested in recommendations; if 1 overkill or not best choice. have additional ~$250 add build @ moment.

thanks in advance insight can provide!

well, here comparision of current graphics cards compared hd4000.

http://www.videocardbenchmark.net/video_lookup.php?gpu=intel+hd+4000

it seems integrated hd4000 weak compared dedicated graphics card.

if going put cash machine,it make sense.

for better idea, check benchmarking site: http://www.hardwareheaven.com/photoshop.php

run benchmark , compare other setups.
