Thread: Fresh Install.

i running 2 drive set up.

have 40gb running ubunutu , 320gb holding documents , shniz.

can copy settings on when new install?

how do this?

best fresh install without copying settings or configuration files. settings/config files left cause of file version conflicts or conflicts in differences of default settings , newer created settings. beside that, saving config files or settings files waste of time because don't know if gonna work again after new installation. best format whole drive before install new, fresh installation.

before doing this, sure have back-upped documents, movies, music, etc. not settings/configuration files.
