Thread: Passing parameters from Nautilus to an arbitrary script

greetings,

write script enable me following actions
- select files in nautilus
- type in keyboard shortcut run script
- intelligent selected files

let's 'intelligent' work starters open new terminal window in present location , list selected files.

ask this: how pass on current location in file system , list of selected files via described pathway can position myself , iterate on selected files?
there other, more elegant way of achieving same result (assuming have imagined workings of type of thing correctly)?

nautilus-actions lets same thing, difference being script run right-click menu. there might way run shortcut, though, not sure.
