Working folder & template questions (Mac and Win)

i'm using captivate mac (both 5.5 , 6). in recording preferences (project info) there field "working folder" fmr in captivate 5.5 or video demo in captivate 6.

 

for new blank projects, appears working folder automatically generated have path name:

 

/private/var/folders/.....

 

question #1: location on mac? (i can't find it.)

question #2: location different "adobe captivate cached projects" folder in documents folder on mac?

 

on related topic, client has provided me template has path working folder:

 

c:\users\janesmith\appdata\local\temp\cp344026233798session\forfmr344026233908

 

obviously, path valid on jane smith's win pc , useless other captivate user, whether on windows or mac. in fact, when modify default preferences template, error message: "the specified working folder not created. please enter valid location continue." have change local mac path.

 

question #3: location use working folder? use "/private/var/folders/" location (wherever is). create old folder? or use "adobe captivate cached projects" folder?

 

question #4: need share modified template several captivate users working on project (could using either mac or windows). if template contains working folder specific computer, must every user re-modify template , re-set working folder location his/her specific computer?

 

question #5: if i'm not mistaken, temp/working folders similar software set @ application level, not project/document level. there reason why convention isn't followed in captivate?

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
