Can not stream files from S3 unless copied from EC2 first

hi,

 

this has simple after hours of searching can't find solution.

 

i have ec2 setup adobe media server 5 , use s3fs mount s3 bucket, works fine , media server running.

 

i can play both mp4 , flv video via rtmp if copy file ec2 instance s3 bucket, can not play video if upload direct bucket.

i can see new file on ec2 , have tried setting permissions , meta tags same working files copied ec2. nothing works??

 

movie player returns error "the stream contains not data"

vlc gives no feedback, pressing play nothing??

 

anyone?

yum update

 

don't know updating server fixed it.
