CS6 3D file size enormous bloat - where's the compression?
if load 600 kb radiance (.hdr) gi map cs6 3d layer , resave document no other changes, layered psd (or layered tiff zip compression enabled) size bloated 100 mb.
i don't think it's coincidence uncompressed size of radiance image 100 mb. photoshop can open radiance image , save in radiance format @ 600 kb again.
clearly, gi map being stored uncompressed in layered psd , layered tiff. consequence enormous waste of storage space , slowed file reading , writing time.
unless i've overlooked compression switch, please fix adobe.

are loading ibl sets here?

if these large sized ibls , can reduce them 4096 x 2048 down 1024 x 512 (keep them @ 32 bit). i'm asking developers now, don't think can store loaded ibl texture compressed radiance file.
