Name = "Hide" not working in List Contacts in a Category - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

hi:

have new site being built @ the australian naturist federation running joomla! v3.0.2 / gantry v4.1.4 rockettheme template nov 12 - metropolis v1.1.

have root menu the australian naturist federation - contact us showing list of executive contacts, want names of contacts hidden. i.e. want titles shown.

have set name = "hide" in 3 (3) places:-

each of individual contacts has [display options] -> name = "hide".

have [components] -> [contacts] -> [categories] -> [options] -> [contact] -> name = "hide".

the "contact us" menu ... [menus] -> [main menu] -> select "contact us" menu -> [advanced options] -> [contact display options] -> name = "hide".

but names of contacts still show in "contact us" page setup menu item type = [contacts] -> [list contacts in category] - see the australian naturist federation - contact us.

any idea i've done wrong or not done?

ps: due nature of site, client doesn't want executive names show in google search. achieve in article content, i've used <span> ... </span> command show names on page hide names google. e.g. joe citizen coded <span>joe ci</span><span>tizen</span>.

tried enter names contact [name] field when trying hide names didn't work, joomla! stripped out html code

the problem menu linking contact page, or have module linking contacts within article.

you shouldn't need hide thing in contacts, setup article , make contact page.
