Problems with Radeon 6850 as Main GPU and GeForce GTX 285 as dedicated GPU for Mercury Playback.

hello everybody! reading. having problems playback , multiple gpus.

 

i have radeon hd 6850 main gpu. reinstalled old geforce gtx 285 on pci-e slot dedicated gpu (runing on windows 7 64bit) able use mercury playback acceleration again.

 

when go settings, can select gpu accelerated mercury playback, videos display black while playing on premiere cs6 (timeline , preview). single monitor plugged radeon main gpu (and newer).

 

any way make work? missed performance had gtx 285, it's time retire main gpu.

 

i have amd 8120fx cpu, running windows 7 64bit...the latest drivers installed on both video cards, bios date, power supply providing right voltage... else running smoothly, it's when playing on premiere mercury gpu activated.

 

is there anyway way force premiere using gtx285?

you may have use 2 nvidia cards one.

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
