Thread: Disabling confirmation screens


hello everybody.
i've been using ubuntu 2 years now, , loving every second, there started minor inconvenience, , has evolved single annoying thing have do, ever: stupid confirmation screens.
if want empty trash, there's damn thing: "are sure want empty trash?" of course i'm sure!!! that's why clicked on it!!!
same if want restart, shut down, etc.

there way disable screens?

in advance.

okay,

start gconf-editor.
go to:
/apps/gnome-sessions/options/
uncheck: logout_prompt

/apps/nautilus/preferences/
uncheck: confirm_trash

this should trick.
