Thread: screensaver with specific picture ?


hello every one,

in order develop application on ubuntu, i'm trying configure screensaver.

logo of application, , launch screensaver logo (moving or not, it's not important).

on windows can execute specific file , run, don't find same command on linux. tutorials speak specific folder on /usr/share/background, , settings on gconf-editor.. exist more easier method ?

gnome-screensaver -file ***.jpg -option static .. or ?

you can use screensaver theme "picture folder" that, 1 image in user's "~/pictures" directory want use that, or multiple variations of achieve floating effect in windows default screensaver.
