Error message after Preflighting
there has been recurring problem struggling solve , appreciated.
we encountering problem on (what appears random) pdfs after have been preflighted using pitstop pro 10 on mac , opened on pc. problem follows:
i open pdf using mac (lion) pre-flight file no errors (of concern) appear save file. our pre-press team pick file later , try open on pc , screen freeze , following error appear.
the message says "this action cannot completed because "adobe acrobat professional - [jfm14_9_rev1[1].pdf, page 22 @ preflight ( fab ))" program not resonding. choose "switch to" , "
the message dose continue unable scroll down.also have checked page 22 , there nothing wrong file.
as said before there doesn't appear clues or reason happen , appears happening on random jobs. preflight profile i'm using direct copy work colleague doesn't problem @ all.

ok, right preflighting happened on mac -and- there no pitstop software on pc?
if so, first thing pursue filename in message. looks jmf22...pdf ... page 22 ... preflight fab. in filename being processed on windows? if not, how of file name.
second, message talks "action" action? last thing pc operator did? if opened file, how did go (e.g. menus, buttons, double clicking or whatever did use?)
