I finally got Flash Player to work

please forgive me starting new thread thought might helpful various people (using different threads) who've reported installation problems.

 

i'm running 64-bit windows7 64-bit version of ie9.  after downloading flash player version 11.3.300.268 not videos play , adobe screen showed fp version didn't show anything, making wasn't installed (even though based on control panel.)  tried uninstall/install suggestions people on other threads listed no luck.

 

what worked me "enabling" "shockwave flash object" add-on listed under ie9's tools>manage add-ons menu.  had disabled and, think, uninstalled shockwave few days ago since getting constant warnings questionable content.  don't totally understand reason shockwave module since i'm being able view videos, i'm not going care.  (i don't see shockwave in list of installed programs in control panel.)  suggest people try combinations of downloading shockwave disabling under add-ons, uninstalling it, un- reinstalling fp, , enabling add-on, if it's there.

 

one curious thing i'm seeing - when open windows control panel see "flash player (32-bit)" led me down number of bad paths, since said above, i'm running 64-bit stuff.

 

good luck can't working.  feel because i'spent many hours on last couple of days trying different combinations of fixes.  i'm not of techie , know above convoluted, ymmv.

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
