Interacting 3D elements - CC Sphere and 3D Rotate Around Circle Animation Preset

ok, 1 problem solved, on next problem — make next 2 problems! have gotten orbiting text (live text 3d rotate around circle animation preset) go behind planet (photo cc sphere effect).

 

1.  now, want fly around 2 interacting 3d objects camera. works fine text, planet appears flatten out circular disc rather sphere. (see attached screen shot.) animate planet seperately on poistion time line, i'd know how make work, if possible.

 

2. set environment layer front side reflecting correctly, why , sides of text reflecting planet? 

 

after effects cs6, imac, osx7.4.

 

any suggestions appreciated!

cc sphere not 3d object when viewed side in ae space.

 

the true 3d objects in ae these days aware of in video copilot element , zaxwerks invigorator. , exist in own 3d space within aes (if makes sense }.

update

 

i know can have several 3d objects in element. im pretty sure can make text ring . should able use earth preset sent link to. , can assign earth image environment map can reflected in text. think there 14 free trial if want explore in depth.

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
