Layering issue - HELP! - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

since support forum swmenufree seems down , 1 image show gk4 no @ all, have turn here. can help.

we have slideshow on frontpage of our website , that's working fine. , have dropdown menu above it, working fine.

the problem dropdown menu, after having updated both extensions latest versions, behind slideshow. , no amount of tinkering z-indexes has made difference. , seems general problem in browser try (i work in google chrome , until update, worked fine.)

does know causing , might fix it?
