Thread: black screen no beep no CD boot/ nVidia problem?

hello,

1 day had problem showing on screen. attached captured picture of screen when error occurred. see there, screen breaks pieces , halts tasks of sudden , when reboot, not work giving me black screen forever.

googled black screen , guessed maybe has graphic card. couldn't find exact name of video card due error laptop had sticker of nvidia on think one.
(fyi, lap top samsung sens q 70)

tried boot ubuntu cd read forum doesn't started @ showing black screen without sound running fan sound. shows green light on power.

i'm not sure next since other articles i've read installing cd make work or type on grub. see nothing black screen. nothing working now. , problem did not start when first installed ubuntu 10.04 last year. happened in middle of using it.

please please tell me should do?
need fix computer work......
please give me answers here.

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
