hi,
raj.i'm learning how use linux. , i'm having many doubts. , i'm not able find clear answers through search. please answer questions clearly. i'm listing questions below. (i'm planning install ubuntu linux)

1. know windows file system ntfs. linux file system. (ext3 ?) or there linux file systems? can windows read linux file system , can linux read windows file system?
2. i'm planning install ubuntu alongside windows. far know linux file system should ext3. in ubuntu site went through installation instructions. has given nothing changing file system of drive linux installed ext3. can directly install ubuntu on ntfs? or automatically change format ntfs ext3? or ubuntu can installed on ntfs. , other flavours of linux require ext3 file system. if ubuntu can installed on ntfs install on ext3 file system or create problems. pleae explaiin clearly. if have not asked let me know.
3.can linux read flash drives or external hard drives directly or compulsory install ntfs drivers it. how do it.

these questions think of before installation. pleae reply

linux has many file systems, used ext4. have read can install ext4 reader module in windows, seems unstable. linux has no problem reading ntfs, ntfs doesn't support features linux needs operate. internal linux files , configuration files can't on ntfs.

when install ubuntu, given options:
  • use entire disk: erase windows , partition ext4
  • next current os: shrink windows ntfs , make new ext4 partition
  • manually: self: shrink or delete partitions, create new ones ... (only advised if have done partitioning before)

these questions think of before installation. pleae reply
linux can read lot of file systems. has problems filesystems used apple. drivers ntfs , fat32 included in kernel.

final note: desktop linux systems offer same functionality different filesystems. there linux variants (like android, meego, webos ...) aren't build computers , don't offer support. result, can't "all linux".

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
