Thread: touchpad no longer works on macbook pro 7,1 after upgrade to 11.04

hello,

after having run ubuntu 10.x on macbook pro 7,1 quite time, decided upgrade 11.04 today. appears work except 1 thing : trackpad.

unlike of other threads report unstable or inconsistent behaviour, condition entirely consistent : doesn't work. no clicking, no scrolling, no moving of pointer - if trackpad doesn't exist.
