Thread: ubuntu 11.04 does nt work ubuntu software center either any DEB

hello everyone
phenom ii 4gb ram ddr3 1tb hdd no windows. fresh ubuntu 11.04.
ubuntu software center stop working , decided run fsck , found lost clusters. fix stil nt work.
can do?
dont hae grub dont know why ubuntu did nt install dont know how run maybe fix bronken package.

when there problems libre office , little of other link me , works

try series:

clean package installation

if have installed , uninstalled lot of applications, chances system infected lot of dependencies files have absolutely no use for. here useful commands rid of partial package , remove unused dependencies:
cleaning of partial package:
sudo apt-get autoclean

cleaning of apt cache:
sudo apt-get clean

cleaning of unused dependencies:
sudo apt-get autoremove

practice avoid left behind use autoremove command whenever want uninstall application.
sudo apt-get autoremove application-name
