CS3 Colors Suddenly Muted Compared to CS4

i have odd problem thought monitor-related. i'm using macpro, 10.6.8, mac 24"hd monitor palettes , nec pa241w color. both monitors calibrated last week.

 

i have cs4, work in cs3 because old interface better. opened file working on friday onto nec screen , of colors, reds, muted/shifted orange. looks fine on mac monitor. apparent because shot of red ferrari looks brick-orange. recalibrated nec no luck. called nec , ran every possible test , scenario, still no good. after on hour nec guy, since doesn't seem monitor issue, both thought load same file cs4 , bingo...it looks fine! check every color setting, proof setup , profile between both versions , they're same. making cs3 version off?!! thing can think of there must setting in cs3 got overwritten/corrupted/changed between friday , today preventing nec monitor see kind of profile mac monitor sees.

look in view menu. maybe have proof colors enabled , using profile shifts red towards orange.

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
