Images dont show. Install in subfolder - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

hi there,

im facing problem showing images in articles.
ive installed joomla in subdirectory (for testing reasons, go live in root), keeping old site up.
so like: http://www.url.com/subfolder/
ive altered .htaccess (no .txt) http://www.url.com/subfolder/.htacess
and changed rewritebase /subfolder (no # in front of it)

sadly, not images show.
only images in root show correctly.
so in http://www.url.com/subfolder/ images show.
in http://www.url.com/subfolder/test/ images dont show.
i used both jce , joomla pop insert image. same result.
ive set live_site http://www.url.com/subfolder/

in html appear "images/test.jpg"...(on page /home/testpage)
when click on link...it gets reneder like:
/url.com/subfolder/home/images/test.jpg

any ideas?

most won't need write base, put # in. , leave rest default.

is pictures template or actual content?

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
