Thread: 81-key Bluetooth keyboard - Model?

i have cheap knock-off bluetooth keyboard laptop, portable, no-silly-numpad model works fine in windows.

there hitches in getting connect in ubuntu (known issue, believe), right now, can pair ubuntu without problems.

however, 25% or (if that) of keys work. keys 7 - -, u - p , j - ; ones responding, , put down characters keys numpad (ergo, u = 4, ; = -, etc).

xev doesn't trigger events either when press other keys.

suspect due keyboard model setting, set 'generic 105-key (intl) pc'. it's 81-key one, similar this one (might exact same).

tl;dr: how determine correct keyboard model, and/or how can manually map if doesn't exist yet? there model in list similar keyboard?

(there similar model in black comment posted works without hitch in ubuntu, guess 1 different)
