Thread: Mouse clicking issues

alright, i've been using ubuntu while now, been working great. 11.04. then, today, strange issue.

seems happening mouse focusing on single part of ubuntu, application, menubar, desktop, etc., when click in (the application or menubar or etc.). left click in webpage in firefox, , 2 issues appear:
1. mouse stuck left clicking in firefox, can't click elsewhere.
2. can not hover , receive visual feedback on else in firefox's webpage ie. no close/minimize/maximize buttons, no app shortcuts, no menus.

now, make matter more interesting, if click in menu in firefox, can click on else. once click in webpage, it's stuck.
then, if right click while it's stuck, in pages contents, can resume clicking elsewhere.

now, i'm stuck. can no longer click besides on firefox's minimize button. posted pressing return , i'm editing device.


wait minute rebooted , it's not doing this. if comes i'll bump thread . have feeling it's keyboard issue though. had plugged in different keyboard , seemed have started then.

it's keyboard. should delete thread , create new 1 in hardware?
know of way see happening when pressing button on keyboard?
damn special button sending click. wtf?

key changes backlight color. there 4 colors, blue, red, purple, , off. on blue, fine. blue red, it's middle click. seems switching red purple sends right click. purple off seems hold left mouse button.
