Thread: New Windows Title Bar initially buried by Unity's Top Menu

starting , application or opening new windows on machine takes 2 hands. once hand mouse , 1 alt-key, before can have normal control on window. in normal control, mean ability move, minimize , exit window. that's because every time start new application or open new application window opens top left of screen.

title bar of window buried below unity's top menu bar. means can't grab window title bar move or minimize it. have hold down alt-key grab mouse position window in location can view (closer center of monitor on right).

might missing if there option can set new window locations can remember position , size last closed.

annoying, whereas open , lost lots of windows during course of working. browsing forum, click on new posts option , right click on topics list read new window. after finishing topic close window. might open 2 or 3 windows in topic type replies or review references mentioned in topic. close windows , open new window next topic of interest.

it's bad enough os doesn't remember preferred size , position of window. if possible drive , window position , resist using mouse, great, since hand on mouse. because title menu buried under unity's top menu, have hold down alt-key left hand while dragging mouse right hand.

if no 1 has fix or suggestion , affecting everyone, guess it'll off bug/feature forum inform developers of problem. maybe fix before next release.

in advance has input on this.

way, other computers running unity 2d , ubuntu classic because don't have video power unity 3d not plagued bug. windows start @ top left title menu bar isn't buried unity's top menu bar. makes possible grab window title bar , position using mouse 1 hand.

i'm running ubuntu 11.04, default unity 3d.

if click on button in launcher zoom out show 4 workspaces, should able move windows down little title bar clear of top panel.

i'm sure there better fix, should work in meantime.

PProHeadless.exe has stopped working error when opening projects in Adobe Media Encoder CS6

hi, upgraded adobe cloud cs6 , having problems adobe media encoder cs 6 (version 6.0.1.31 64-bit).   when try add adobe premiere projects in ame, gives me following error:   pproheadless.exe has stopped working   i tried rebooting, , still gives me same error.  project load, won't.   the premiere projects contain h.264 .mov file coming canon t2i.  added overlay logo bottom right of video created in adobe after effects, contains text, no effects, no motion, etc.  have .wav file recorded zoom h4n, not always.  edit in adobe audition remove noise feature.   i running on windows 7 ultimate 64-bit.  i'm using i7 16gb ram , ati 6870 video card.   i have lut buddy plugin installed.   it give me error first time try load project, , connection dynamic link server fail.  afterwards, if try load project again, if restart ame, stays stuck in connecting dynamic link server...   any provide appreciated. what happens when drag , a...
