hi,

i'm trying install 10.04 on software raid 1. followed tutorial : http://blog.foobaria.com/2010/05/ins...ktop-with.html

went fine, except @ reboot when got initramfs page following error message :

error: fd0 read error

mount: mounting /dev/disk/by-uuid/ca5ebe7f-e126-4f80-a0d3-55d77c3a94d8 on /root failed invalid argument
mount: mounting /dev on /root/dev failed : no such file or directory
mount: mounting /sys on /root/sys failed: no such file or directory
mount: mounting /proc on /root/proc failed: no such file or directory
target filesystem doesn't have requested /sbin/init
no init found. try passing init= bootarg

fd0 floppy reader, , error known

might not need floppy reader often, try either: unset bios, unplug it, add --no-floppy on boot line (/etc/default/grub, sudo update-grub), still should have (default), , finally, check floppy not loaded /etc/fstab

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
