Thread: Ubuntu is not getting installed in my laptop

hi,

tried install ubuntu 10.04 , 11.04, did't successed . after many attempts when tried install ubuntu 10.04 in text-mode, able install completely. when reboot laptop after completion of installation process displayed me blank pink screen (which ubuntu theme) & nothing else , laptop halted. same things happened when try install ubuntu in normal mode (graphics mode). when tried install it.....it displayed few messages on screen (but no error messages)..and after 2 or 3 screen laptop halted , see blank pink screen.

graphics card causing problem ? or else ?

laptop configurations :

processor : intel(r) core (tm) 2 duo cpu t6500 @2.10ghz 2.10 ghz
intalled memory : 4.00 gb (3.75 gb usuable)
display adaptor : nvidia getforce 8200m g
hard disk : 320 gb

win-7 (64-bit) installed in laptop.



please me.

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
