Ugly banding in sky (32-bit HDR)


i've seen few times now, , decided ask if else has come across it.

 

when developing 32-bit hdr images in lightroom (merged in photoshop) these discoloured bands across sky. (top left corner.)

i tried see if of sliders (clarity/shadows/highlights/etc) caused these coloured bands, there if reset , lower exposure colour in sky:

for comparison, here -3 ev exposure part of (three-frame) hdr. can('t) see, there no banding going on here:

what other 2 exposures? there cause banding when 3 images blended together?
