Illustrator Character Pallet Issue

when changing font character pallet found in right hand panel pallet resets default if try change kerning option. behavior occurrs randomly.

sometimes not happen if change kerning after changing size , leading.

it doesn’t happen when use the  character pallet when accessed status bar. and, happens random fonts. isn’t consistent. anoying.

 

the system specs are:

windows 7 enterprise w/service pack 1 running on:

pentium dual core cpu 3.20 ghz

4 gb ram

32 bit operating system

 

note: seems happening on 1 of computers work on. not seem happen other 2 machines use, (intel mac running lion or pc running windows 7 home premium). also, software licensed under different account these machines.

i have seen behavior happen on machines when mm (muliple master) font loaded , utlized on page, on mac. examples of mm troublesome fonts nueva mm ocean sans mm. may troublesome font loaded, try closing fonts not use.

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
