LR4.1 : "Edit-In" > "Open as Smart Object with Photoshop..." feature doesn't work with 32bits

hi there,

 

i running lr4.1/cs5/acr6.7 on win7 64bits system.

 

the feature "edit-in" > "open smart object photoshop..." work ok raw files (.nef).

 

however, when try use same feature 32 bits .tiff files (which output of lr4.1's "edit-in" > "merge hdr pro in photoshop..." other feature), nothing happen (the photoshop application windows open w.o image i've selected).

 

i've used search engines , adobe online see if there limit preventing usage of feature 32 bits .tif files couldn't see such note.

have tried converting 32 bit tiff dng (might first...)?

the new dng spec supposed handle higher-bit images. perhaps dng past issue.

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
