Moving PSE 3 to PSE 10 new computer

i moving pse 3 on xp pc pse 10 on win 7 pc.

i restored catalog , photos exact same drive letter / folder location on new pc, when try convert catalog, can browse folder catalog, pse 10 not "see" catalog.

any suggestions?

the problem default image directory ('my pictures...') different in vista , windows 7 in xp. so, telling pse10 restore in same directory has no clear meaning.

what showing catalog in 'custom location' : databackup folder on e: drive. if did not create folder yourself, may have been created default pse10.

 

anyway, looks catalog in pse3 format (ending .psa suffix).

so, should open organizer in pse10.

- in catalog manager dialog opens when use /file/catalog menu, click on 'convert' button on right, , navigate e: drive , databackup folder, until can select catalog.psa file. click convert, , should create new catalog.pse10db catalog file in pse10 format.

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
