OpenCL vs Cuda for CS6

first of all, english not please bear me. know how comparison gtx 6xx , amd 7xxx. discussion opencl vs cuda cs6 programs , general ps, video-editing , 3d rendering.

 

i know performance in gaming benchmark, value, performance ratio, , etc. i'm eggxpert in chat room/forums. i'm helping people needs pc parts , build. people come eggxpert ask pc custom building gaming, basic, , needs. asking issue in or pc hardware or software. asking workstation heavy using rendering (cad, lightwave, autodesk, etc.), more rams, more hyper-threading/cores, , professional graphic cards. might not best expert in parts. ask them go adobe forums linked them. however, there few people graphic design , video-editing such 2600/3770 w/o "k" if need overclocking or close price, gpus gtx cards or amd 7750/7770 or higher if buget fit. 2600/3700 8 ht great "intermediate" use programs cs6, cinema4d, , etc. learned harm millaard. basic, intermediate, , difficult. budget, economical, , warrior. best bang buck cpu.that googled , saw in forums wrote. of (eggxperts) guy , people too. forum great expert wise ratio, value, performance, , etc. did in eggxperts issue, gaming, general, , pc parts.

 

i learn more opencl , cuda. forums said opencl faster cuda. people said cs6 using opencl only. checked nvidia site updated cuda 5.0 work cs6 (gtx 6xx.) checked adobe features opencl there many use features. nvidia feature color corrector, warp stabilizer, uninterrupted playback, , mutli cam support premiere pro cs6 , program. cpu work other features anyway. can explain me opencl vs cuda in performance/benchmark programs?

which type of system going run? windows? osx?

 

if running windows, keep in mind windows version of premiere pro cs6 still not support opencl @ gpu acceleration. therefore, amd gpus force premiere run in mpe software-only mode. same goes non-nvidia gpu, or nvidia gpu either has less 1gb of total video ram or old support cuda. mpe gpu acceleration still nvidia cuda in windows.

 

if running mac (osx), support opencl mpe gpu acceleration - keep in mind support officially limited hd 67xxm gpus inside newer macbook pros running on newer versions of osx.

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
