[SOLVED] Different permissions on differnce com categories - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

hi all.

1) created special admin user group , added "admin1" user in group.
2) created weblink category (for example) "web1" , weblinks in category.
want admin1 can manage weblinks normal admin, cannot manage (create, delete, edit state, config etc..) on web1 (only). possible? ideally can extends components (banners, users, menus etc)

i think doable failed make work. graceful if can give me directions.

it turns out quite easy. must short-circuited. view category permission in components > weblinks, click on special user group , change 'denied'. no need make changes under global configuration.
