Thread: Can't boot liveCD when using Ubuntu.

hi folks.
first post in here , first time couldn’t google me answer.
first of all, i’m in love ubuntu, linux spirit , whole community. 2 months ago made dual boot windwos 7. after fell in love ubuntu , started learning c, wanted remove windows.

used xubuntu live cd format drives. wanted start on fresh , have dual boot ubuntu , backtrack 5 instead. used gparted , pretty easy. installed ubuntu live cd. went fine. when insert backtrack 5 livecd (or liveusb) can’t boot.
splash screen opens, whatever choose reboot machine, enter ubuntu.

don’t think backtrack, mbr. other live cds boot fine. i’ve tested damnsmalllinux, xubuntu , knoppix. why can’t backtrack boot after removed windows, other livecd boot fine?

can grub? i’m lost.
have install windows again?

hope guys can me.
in advance, , sorry bad english.

well... don't think it's mbr or grub... things on hdd...
