Thread: Finding Ubuntu partition

hello,

have problem ubuntu resulted in 11.04 being unusable, therefore need reinstall or format ubuntu partition.

however, created 2 partitions on disk, c (windows) , d (linux) d has become invisible, cannot seen.

know how make "reappear" can reinstall ubuntu on it?

are trying linux partition windows?
windows not see it.

can see copy of partition table?

boot live cd, select try ubuntu, open terminal , enter:

code:

sudo parted -l

and post result.

(that lower case "l".)
