well, 1 way -- note knows he/she doing can reverse easy...

each program (i'm using terminal example):

code:
cp  /usr/share/applications/gnome-terminal.desktop ~/.local/applications/ gedit ~/.local/applications/gnome-terminal.desktop
append "gksu " without quotes "exec" line. prompt password now, run root -- might not work network preferences , other apps. maybe set guest account, , enable auto screen locking?

{edit}
reverse above: remove file(s) copied .local/share/applications, in example above file gnome-terminal.desktop
