Thread: Intel HD 2000 and 3000 Graphics - Still unstable

i'm still looking magic bullet cure basic sandybridge desktop stability 11.04 x64 , intel hd 2000 or 3000 graphics.

have 2 desktop systems i5 2400 (hd 2000) , i7 2600k (hd 3000) have tried various p67 , z68 motherboards on past few months. stability in windows 7 fine , no oc'ing being done.

default 11.04 x64 install + updates end random desktop restarts and/or white artifacts (rectangles or full horizontal lines).

suggestions i've found update kernel , mesa.
i've tried kernel 2.6.39.2 , mesa 7.11.0 110624 , end in worse state.
desktop end crashing endless loop of blanking screen , repainting background , open windows.

happens either unity or classic mode.
thought screensaver or power management related have disabled both.

ideas? (other giving , throwing nvidia or ati card in).

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
