Thread: New and Frustrated! Finding .vdi file


hi,

new of this, don't judge me!

installed virtualbox windowsxp run netflix online. though gave 50 gb disk space , 1024mb ram, irritatingly slow. deleted it, , uninstalled virtual box program. can't find .vdi file talks about.

want able watch netflix programs while work online or play games, see not practial since installed new hard drive , have committed ubuntu.

how rid of file defining virtual drive? need baby step instructions, please! answers in forums , blogs make sound easy, , can't find it.

we'll use locate command find it:
open terminal , type
code:
sudo updatedb
it take few moments run....when returns prompt type
code:
locate .vdi
it show instances of .vdi on computer. can navigate them , remove. if there still dificulty post back.
