Thread: Problems connecting to internet in windows after installing windows over ubuntu

i aware problem in windows operating system, seems have ubuntu has affected.

today installed xp on computer after running ubuntu 10.04 while. after installation completed, windows stated, upon trying access internet, that, "windows cannot find wired or wireless connection."

*note - internet did work fine in ubuntu , internet working fine in 9.04 live session, obviously. problem appears in windows. also, not dual-booting @ time. clean install of windows after deleting ubuntu partition.

problem presented when installed xp on ubuntu 9.04 while back, when install xp same disc on different machine, internet accessed without hitch. why have come conclusion problem based on ubuntu did. of course, i've been wrong before, far signs point ubuntu.

familiar type of problem? also, when go dual-boot 11.04 xp after sorted out, should expect similar problems?

it's unlikely have ubuntu, @ least see no signs support claim. networking hardware works, , 'different machine' doesn't have same nic, make sure have uptodate windows driver installed.

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
